Jacaranda time at Circular Quay today

ジャカランダの季節 -　今日のサーキューラーキー　

I went out to get lunch at Circular Quay today and.... I saw beautiful Jacarandas.

　　　久しぶりにお昼休みにランチを買いに出かけたら、サーキューラーキーの辺りは、ジャカランダがほぼ満開になっていました。

It was a beautiful day.

I love the contrast of the blue sky and purple jacarandas this time of year.

今日はいい天気でした。

シドニーの真っ青な空と紫色のコントラストもなかなかです。

ジャカランダの季節

Jacaranda is one of my favorite flower. From now on to November we can see Jacaranda flower many places in Sydney. It's completed different shape and colour between Sakura and Jacaranda, but as spring flower that remind me Japanese Sakura.

私の大好きな花のひとつです。これから１１月にかけてシドニーのあちらこちらで見ることが出来ます。花の形も色も全然違いますが、時期的にも日本の桜のを思い出させてくれます。

Look at this Gum tree!! in full bloom.

There are so many different kinds of gum trees in Lane Cove

this one is quite small but now has beautiful flowers.　

レインコーブはユーカリの木だらけなのですが、木によって花の色や咲き方が違っています。

このユーカリは背が低いですが花がいっぱい咲いています。

Ladies night at Totoya

Tonight we had a good time together at Totoya Japanese restaurant.

Good price and delicious foods and we had so many dishes.

今日はちょっと人数が少なかったけど、久しぶりにくーちゃんにも会えて楽しく過ごせました。

刺身、豚の角煮、牛タン、焼き鳥、あんかけ、ラーメン鍋、高菜チャーハン、etc..

生うにはとても美味しかった！

値段も安いしおいしさのあまり食べ過ぎてしまいました。

It is a great discovery that can eat Yakitori in Sydney.

Next time I want to go with Ni-chan, he loves Yakitori.

焼き鳥が食べられるの大発見、シドニーでは珍しいですね。

今度また、にーちゃんと一緒に行ってみよう。

My wild pets - Lorikeets

今日の夕方,バルコニーに来たロリキート。鳴き声も可愛いので今日はビデオで

Yesterday lorikeets came to our balcony again so I gave a piece of bread but even they not try to eat and fly away, so this morning I went to buy some more sunflower seeds. They love it. I usually realise when lorikeets come they call from the balcony. Today I prepared sunflower seeds and when they come I can serve straight way.

Ni-chan says that I've been trained by lorikeets, I am their pet.

知り合いから貰った餌がなくなり、昨日はパンをあげたら見向きもぜずどこかに、今朝さっそくスーパーに餌を買いに行きました。ひまわりの種が大好物ですね。バルコニーに来ると鳴いて知らせるので来たらすぐに分かります。今日は餌がすぐに出せるように用意してました。

にーちゃんから私の方がロリキートからトレーニングされたペットだと言われてしまいました。

Short bush walk in Lane Cove today

今日のショートブッシュウォーク

Using the bush walk book we bought at the Lane Cove fair last week.

先週のフェアーで買ったレインコーブ近辺ブッシュウォークの本を見ながら

From Epping Rd Lane Cove into Elizabeth Pde,

it takes 5 minute walk there is the entrance of bush walk.

Epping Rd からElizabeth Pde に入って5分ほど歩いて行ったら左手に入り口があります。

A bit difficult to see, there is an interesting plant in the middle.

Many tree fern we saw this area.

この辺りはツリーファンがいっぱいありました。

Just about one hour walk today.

今日は1時間ほどのウォーキングでした。

Lane Cove village fair

Lane Cove village fair was held in Lane Cove Today.

We went to the fair late afternoon, so couldn't see much but luckily we found Lane Cove bush walking book.

今日はレインコーブでビレッジフェアーが開催されました。

　　　　夕方から出かけたのでゆっくり見れなかったけど、

レインコーブ、ブッシュフォーキングのガイドブックが手に入ったのでよかったです。

As name says,they really looks like bottle brush.

オーストラリア原産のブラシの木

レインコーブのあちこちでブラシの木に花が咲いています。

その名の通り、ビンを洗うブラシにそっくりですね。
