The lettuce's flower has bloomed that is the way it is growing up

レタスに花が咲きました,それで上伸びていたのですね。

From end of summer to autum, we can see Tibouchia flower in Sydney suburbs.

Deep purple colours are so beautiful!!

夏の終わりから秋にかけてシドニーでは、紫紺野牡丹（シコンノボタン）の花が

あちらこちらでみられます。

その名の通り深い紫がとても奇麗です。

Lettuce and Radish

The lettuce that I planted didn't wrap around itself and

become round as I expected - instead it is reaching for the sky!

I wonder how high will reach?

丸くはならず、空に向かってにょきにょきと。。。

どこまで伸びるのでしょう？

The radish doesnt look like it is going to be successful either.

It has been seven weeks and hasn't grown much at all.

ラディシュは失敗のようです。

もう発芽から7週間経っているのに殆ど育っていません。

Day trip to Japan and Bali - 10/04/2010

日本とバリへの日帰り旅行　2010年4月10日

Actually this is a Japanese antique shop called Edo Arts that imports antiques from Japan.

They have a showroom in Terry Hills, Sydney.

They sell many things including: furniture, pottery, Japanese paper and Kimonos, etc.

They also sell old doors and shop signs - some of which have made into tables.

実は、テリーヒルズにあるエドアートと言う日本からの

輸入アンテークショップなんですよ。

家具、陶器、和紙、着物、はぎれ、面白いものは

昔の看板で出来たテーブルや欄間なんかもありました。

Next door is a bamboo plant shop.

隣は竹専門の植木屋さんがあります。

Recently I have seen more and more bamboo used in

trendy flower shops and pubs and cafes.

最近はトレンディーなお花屋さん、カフェやレストランで竹が

よくインテリアとして使われています。

Next door the bamboo company is a Bonsai nursery.

またそのお隣は盆栽ショップです。

I bought my Bonbon here.

うちのボンボンはここで買いました。

They have a bonsai school.

ここで盆栽教室も行われています。

Lastly is a place that looks like Bali.

そして最後はバリ風造りのお店

This is a cafe in the bamboo forest.
隣は竹藪風カフェもあります。

I feel like today I went back to Japan. I enjoyed it very much.

今日はちょっと日本に帰った気分になりました。
楽しい1日でした！！

イースターホリデー　２０１０年４月５日

I went to the Art Gallery to see Utamoro Ukiyoe with Ni-chan today.

We walked from Wynyard to the Art Gallery

and enjoyed looking at old architecture.

イースターホリデー最後の日は、にーちゃんと一緒に美術館に

歌麿の浮世絵展を見に行きました。

ウィンヤードから美術館までは古い建物が多いので

それを楽しみながら歩いて行きました。

This is the red bird Ni-chan called 'princess' that came to watch practice.

３月２３日のブログに載せたかった写真がみつかりました。

この赤い鳥が稽古を時々見に来る、プリンセスです。

I think it looks much slimmer than a normal parrot.

Easter holiday 2/04/2010 - 5/04/2010

イースターホリデー ２０１０年４月２日　－　４月５日

From today we are having Easter holiday.

Last night, after we finished work, Ni-chan and I went for a night out in Crows Nest.

We had one drink in the pub.

The staff working in the pub were dressed like bunnies to make an atmosphere with Easter.

今日から４日イースターホリデーに入ります。

昨日は仕事が終わってすぐに,にーちゃんと二人でクロズネストに出かけました。

まずパブで一杯。

バプで働いている人たちも

バニーに変身してイースターの雰囲気をだしてくれていました。

After that we went to a new yakiniku restaurant called "Kashiwa"

that uses Shichirin (Japanese charcoal grill)

It was cheap and delicious.

その後、最近オープンした"Yakiniku 柏"で七輪焼肉をいただきました。

安くて美味しかったです。
