Day trip to Japan and Bali - 10/04/2010

日本とバリへの日帰り旅行　2010年4月10日

Actually this is a Japanese antique shop called Edo Arts that imports antiques from Japan.

They have a showroom in Terry Hills, Sydney.

They sell many things including: furniture, pottery, Japanese paper and Kimonos, etc.

They also sell old doors and shop signs - some of which have made into tables.

実は、テリーヒルズにあるエドアートと言う日本からの

輸入アンテークショップなんですよ。

家具、陶器、和紙、着物、はぎれ、面白いものは

昔の看板で出来たテーブルや欄間なんかもありました。

Next door is a bamboo plant shop.

隣は竹専門の植木屋さんがあります。

Recently I have seen more and more bamboo used in

trendy flower shops and pubs and cafes.

最近はトレンディーなお花屋さん、カフェやレストランで竹が

よくインテリアとして使われています。

Next door the bamboo company is a Bonsai nursery.

またそのお隣は盆栽ショップです。

I bought my Bonbon here.

うちのボンボンはここで買いました。

They have a bonsai school.

ここで盆栽教室も行われています。

Lastly is a place that looks like Bali.

そして最後はバリ風造りのお店

This is a cafe in the bamboo forest.
隣は竹藪風カフェもあります。

I feel like today I went back to Japan. I enjoyed it very much.

今日はちょっと日本に帰った気分になりました。
楽しい1日でした！！
