この花の運命

ロリキートの餌用のヒマワリの種が植木鉢に紛れ込んで

すくすくと育っていました。

前にも1回こんなことがありましたが、途中で枯れてしまいました。

2月13日

ロリキートも私達も開花するのを毎日楽しみにしてました。

2月20日

1週間前に比べると蕾が大分大きくなっていました。

2月20日

昨日は,シドニーは1日中暴風雨で、

心配したにーちゃんが枝が折れるかもしれないから

隣のバルコニー（風が当たりにくい）に移せば？

私「大丈夫、そのままで。」

蕾が少し開いてます。

2月23日

今朝、

天気がよくなってヒマワリちゃんも無事。

まだ花は完全に咲き開いてなかったのですが、

後2－3日かな？と楽しみにしていました。

こんなことになりました。

ロリキート/Tensuke and Tenko

数ヶ月ぶりに天助と天子が家に遊びに来ました。

１ヶ月ほど家を留守にしていたら来なくなっていたのですが、

久しぶりで嬉しくなりました！

I'm very happy to see Tenko and Tensuke came to our balcony.

We had a holiday about a month in October and haven't seen them since we returned.

私達の元旦/Our New Year

Happy New Year!!

今年の元旦はにーちゃんと２人きりで過ごしました。

I spent time New Year just with Ni-chan this year.

朝食はお雑煮となぜか豚バラの焼き鳥

We had breakfast Zoni with Yakitori.

夕方は最近よく来るシマちゃんとクロが遊びにきました。

Late afternoon lorikeets Shima and Kuro came to visit. 
Recently they come to our balcony often.

８月４日（土曜日）

久しぶり！

今日はまた天子ちゃんは可愛いピンクの羽をつけてきました。

Today Tenko and Tensuke came again and Tenko was showing

her little orange/pink  'angel wings'.

バルコニーのモモイロインコ/Galahs at our balcony

水曜日の朝、ちょっと変わった鳴き声が聞こえたのでバルコニーに出てみると、

モモイロインコがうちのバルコニーに遊びに来てました。

インコと言ってっも殆どオオムに近いサイズです。

たまにこの辺りを飛んでいるのは見ますが、うちのバルコニーで見るのは初めてです。

A few days ago I heard a different sound coming from the balcony.

When I went out I saw that there were two galahs there.

I've seen galahs flying around the area a few times but this is the first time I've seen them come to our balcony.

 

 

天助、天子のお友達？/Tensuke & Tenko's friends

昨日のサンセット前に

天助と天子の鳴き声が聞こえたのでバルコニーにでてみると、

瞬く間に１０羽に。。

Yesterday at sunset I heard Tensuke and Tenko outside,

 so I went out onto the balcony and the two of them were there.

Suddenly another ten lorikeets came.

戻って来た天助と天子/Tensuke & Tenko return

16日の朝、殆ど1ヶ月ぶりに天助と天子が遊びにきました。

4月19日に2羽の赤ちゃんを連れて来てから、

全く来なくなっていたので心配してました。

ロリキートの雛は、巣立ってから数週間親鳥と一緒に行動するらしいので、

子育てで忙しかったのかもしれませんね！

写りが良くありませんが、久しぶりに来てくれた記念にアップしました。

On the morning of the 16th,

Tensuke and Tenko came to the balcony for the first time since they brought the two chicks on the 19th of April. 

I was wondering what happened to them.

Lorikeet chicks first leave the nest with their parents and stay together for a few weeks so the parents can show them around.

Tensuke and Tenko must have been very busy looking after them.

This is bad photo but I wanted to post it to keep a record of their visit.

　一昨日の朝、仕事に出かけようとしている時、

ベビーロリキートの鳴き声が聞こえたのでバルコニーに出てみると、

何と天子と天助が二羽の赤ちゃんを連れてきていました。

感動！！

The day before yesterday while I was getting ready to go to work

 I heard the sound of lorikeet chicks outside.

I went to the balcony - and WOW Tensuke and Tenko brought two babies! I was moved.

2羽の赤ちゃん達 - くちばしが黒っぽくて肥っています。

Here are the babies - they are fatter than the adults and have dark beaks.

いつの間にかに四羽家族に、びっくり！　

天子ママと天助パパは、時々赤ちゃん達にフィードしていました。

Sometimes Tesuke-papa and Teko-mama feed the babies.

今日も夕方、天助と天子が遊びに来ました。

特に、にーちゃんに懐いていて、

ヒマワリの種を、背伸びして見ている姿がとても可愛かったです。

Tensuke and Tenko came to our balcony this late afternoon.

Especially they take to Ni-chan and

look so cute stretched themselves looking for sun flower seeds.

シドニーは3月に入ってから10日ぐらい雨が降り続いて、

毎日のように、家に来ていたロリキートの天助と天子が全く来なくなっていました。

にーちゃんとよく「天助達はどうしてるのかな？？」って話していて、

もう自分たちのペットの様に心配していました。

ここ4,5日天気になっても来ず、すごーく気になっていました。

。

今朝、バルコニーのドアを開けていたら。。

可愛い鳴き声が聞こえてきました。

 

わー！2週間ぶりに天助、天子に再会です！！

普段は朝は餌を与えないのですが、今日は特別です。

天子が飛び立った瞬間

近くの木から他のロリキートの鳴き声が聞こえるので、

天子は気になってます。
