Last night's dinner

昨夜のディナー

We had a dinner with Mr X and Kaoru last night.

This time we did miso shabushabu.

It is the best food in the cold winter.

昨夜は、ミスターX とかおるちゃん達と一緒にディナーをしました。

今回は味噌鍋しゃぶしゃぶです。

寒い冬はやっぱりこれが一番ですね。

Ladies night at Lane Cove ne-chan's

Last night we had a ladies night at my place and had shabishabu nabe.

I forgot to take a photo of the dinner- too busy talking.

Rosemary and radish

I'm having four days off from today!!

わーい！今日から4日間休みです。

I had a chance to see how my little garden is doing,

there is a bud with my rosemary.

今日は久しぶりにゆっくりとガーデンを観察、

ローズマリーに蕾がついています。

The radish is growing very slowly.

ラディッシュの方は本葉が出てきましたが成長が遅いです。

From here is the residential area that we walk through on the way home.

ここから住宅街を抜けてレインコーブに帰ります。

In January we first saw white rabbits that appear to be living here.

今年の1月に見つけた真白なうさちゃん、この辺に住んでいるようですね。

This cute little park has BBQ area that is in the right of the photo.

この可愛い公園にはBBQの施設（写真右手）が整っています。

In the park we saw more rabbits.

Relaxing Saturday in Artarmon

アーターモンでのリラックス土曜日

At the back of Artarmon railway station is Wilkes street

that has a kind of Japan village.

There are Japanese restaurant "Sushi-Ya" and another called Ramen-genki.

There are also two Japanese supermarkets - Luckymart and Anegawa

and a Japanese second hand book shop called Furuhon-ya

as well as two Thai restaurants.

このアーターモンの駅裏はちょっとした日本ビレッジになっています。

和食レストランのSushi-Ya, ラーメン元気、日本食品店が2店ラッキーマート、

姉川、古本屋さんのFURUHON-YAと2つのタイレストランがあります。

The street leads into the residential area.

ここを抜けるとすぐ住宅街に入ります。

Every 2nd Saturday of the month Lucymart has a sale,

we went just before lunch time and there were so many people

I could hardly move in the shop.

毎月第二土曜日はラッキーマートのセールで、昼前に行ったときは

店内は身動き出来ないぐらい人がいっぱいいました。

I bought some cream puff for desert for tonight from Anegawa-san

姉川さんで今夜のデザートにシュークリームを買いました。

We had lunch at Sushi-Ya

お昼はSushi-Yaで。

We had Sushi, Sashimi, Deep fried sea food

It was delicious!!

刺身、寿司,揚げ物を頂きました。

日本食は久しぶりです。

あー美味しかった！！

Onion

玉ねぎ

When I noticed that an onion had sprouts,

I thought it would be waste to just throw it away so I thought I'd let it grow.

In the last four or five days it has grown roots as well.

I found out via the Internet that the sprouts are edible like leaks

and when it grows up I will use in cooking.

kind of looking forward to it!

気がついたら、玉ねぎから芽がでてました。

捨てるのはもったいないので鑑賞用として4－5日前から

こうしていたら、根もでてきました。

玉ねぎの芽、ネギみたい食べられるそうですよ。

大きく育ったら料理に使ってみようと思います。

ちょっと楽しみ！
