バーベキュートマト/BBQ Tomato

昨日はにーちゃんと2人でバルコニーでBBQ

一緒に買物に行って、お互い好きなものにしようということで

勿論にーちゃんは和牛それも日本からの輸入物、私はホタテとカニにしてみました。　

.

Yesterday we had a BBQ on our balcony.

When we were at the shops we decided to buy something special

that each of us loves.

Of course Ni-chan bought Wagyu beef steak that was imported from Japan.

I had scallops and Blue Swimmer Crab.

初めての試み、トマトBBQ

塩とホワイトペッパーにオリーブオイルを付けて焼いてみました。

GOOD!!　

また1品簡単おいしいレレシピが増えました。

This was the first time I tried BBQ tomato.

Before cooking I put salt and white pepper and dipped it in extra virgin olive oil.

It was delicious.

I'm happy I found another quick and easy recipe.

週末のちょっとゴージャスなおうちBBQでした。

手作りデコパージュの思い出/Decoupage memories

今日と明日はお休みを頂きました。

午前中は、すごくいい天気だったので、洗濯2回に大掃除。

15年前に作って、しまい込んでいたデコパージュを見つけて写真に収めてみました。

I have a few days off from work, today I did some Spring Cleaning.

I found some decoupage that I made fifteen years ago.

and I took some photos.

沢山いろいろな種類作ったのだけど。。

でもこのベアボックスは私の一番のお気に入り

.

ガレージセールで＄1で買った古い箱を、ヤスリがけして、ペイントしてその上に

切り抜いた紙を貼ってニスを何回か塗ります。

結構時間がかかるのです。

.

I made many,

but this one - I call the Bear Box is my favorite.

.

I bought a old box for $1.00 at a garage sale then sanded it, painted it, applied

the paper then the varnish It took a long time to make.

今日は,あの頃が思い出され楽しい一日でした!

It was a good day it brings happy memories!

今日、隣のユニットの屋根でクッカバラが大笑いしていました。

鉄板焼野菜/Teppan vegetables

今日は平日の簡単夕食で、鉄板焼野菜にしてみました。

にーちゃんの大好きなお肉もほんの少しだけつけて。

Tonight I cooked 'teppan' vegetables.

It is an easy dinner to make during the week.

I put in a bit of beef for Ni-chan.

.

焼き豆腐は焼肉のタレといっしょに頂くか、生姜と鰹節、ネギをのせて

お醤油でもいけますね。

"yakidofu" (cooked Tofu) made with yakiniku sauce.

Another way I make it is putting ginger, leek and katsuoboshi

along with a bit of soy sauce.

今朝、にーちゃんと一緒に出かけてみました。

ハンドメイドジュエリー、プラント、服etc..小さな可愛いマーケットです。

土曜の散歩道/Walk in Lane Cove

今日は、にーちゃんと一緒にレインコーブを散歩しました。

ちょっと肌寒かったので散歩には丁度よく、いい運動になりました。

Ni-chan and I went for a walk in Lane Cove today.

It was a bit chilly but a nice day for a walk.

金曜の夜/Friday night

.

金曜の夜は、仕事帰りににーちゃんとレインコーブのバス停で待ち合わせして

食事に出かけるか、買い物して一緒に家に帰ります。

今夜は雨なので家でシドニーオイスターとシャンペンで乾杯することにしました。

.

On Friday nights I usually meet Ni-chan at the bus-stop in Lane Cove.

We usually go out for dinner or go shopping and go home together.

It was raining so we decided to have toast champagne at home

along with Sydney Rock Oysters.

.

バルコニーのキャンドルライト/ Candlelight in the balcony

キャンドルライト大好きです!

気持ちが落ち着くので、時々いろんな所に置いて楽しんでいます。

I love candlelight!
